Acrylics,
2-level canvas painting
Taught by David Wolff

Join us for a fun and creative workshop with David Wolff, perfect for all levels of experience—whether you’re just starting out or looking to try something new!

Participants will create a unique mixed-media artwork on a canvas stretched over wood. You’ll begin by painting the surface in an abstract style using acrylics, enjoying the freedom of color, texture, and expression. Once dry, the canvas is flipped and a linear design is drawn, then carefully cut to reveal selected shapes.

Next, you’ll paint a second paper backing that will be attached to the reverse side of the canvas. When completed, this vibrant layer shows through the cut-out areas, creating a striking two-dimensional relief effect full of depth, contrast, and visual interest.

Come explore, experiment, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of art you’ll be proud to display!
