Brushes
Filberts, Sizes:  #2, #4, and #8

Canvas
20” x 16” Canvas (no smaller) treated with Golden Acrylic N6 Neutral Gray Paint

On pre-stretched pre-primed canvas, apply one to two thin coats of Golden Acrylic N6 Neutral Gray  Paint diluted with water. The ratio should be 2:1 water to paint.

Apply using a 2- to 3-inch-wide brush. The finished canvas should have a semi-transparent gray finish. Be careful not to apply the paint too thickly. Too thick of a coating will result in a slick surface, making it difficult to apply paints evenly.

Pallet & Rags
Wood, glass, or gray paper pallet and roll of paper towels (VIVA brand recommended)

Sketch Pad & Vine Charcoal
